We Remember.

September 11 – Day of Remembrance.
It is doubtful that anyone will ever forget where they were on the morning of September 11, 2001, upon hearing of the attacks on the twin World Trade Towers in NYC, the Pentagon in Washington and the crash in Pennsylvania. This horrible and tragic day is etched forever in our memories.

Like the attack on Pearl Harbor that brought us into World War II, the 9/11 attacks led us into a new war… the war on terrorism. It also touched and changed forever, the lives of each and every American.

On the anniversary of 9/11, we encourage you to spend a few minutes reflecting upon this event, and praying for the victims who died, and their families and friends.

Smiling and Traveling, Part 1!

“On the road again, goin’ places that I’ve never been, seein’ things I may never see again, and I can’t wait to get on the road again”.  –Willie Nelson

We have heard from a lot of our friends who take Seeds of Happiness along on trips across the U.S. as well as abroad. So far, the Smiles have been to six of the seven continents. (If you or anyone you know is headed WAY down under to ANTARCTICA, please take a Seed of Happiness, or two, and send us a photo!)

"Welcome".

“Welcome”.

Since Monday is President’s Day, we are again featuring Abraham Lincoln. Our friend Kelly and her daughters took a road trip to Springfield, Illinois, home of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.  As you can see, there is a diorama of the Lincoln home. It was a very educational and very fun time for ALL!

It's been a long day of sightseeing around the Illinois state capitol; time for a little rest.

We really enjoy seeing our friends’ travels, adventures and Smiles. Please send us photos of your traveling Seeds of Happiness. Bon Voyage!
